Lose fat and gain muscle at the same time?

Many people want to lose and so they go to the gym to achieve their weight goals.

The vast majority of people who are new to the gym for two point to the same general objectives either or muscle building, but the vast majority of these neophytes would like to both lose fat and gain muscle at the same time But is this possible?

The problem is the concept that has the gym and everyone that starts in this world should be clear that especially for gaining muscle takes time, this is not undertaking short periods of time, so the concept is learn to think in years and not months let alone days.

Fat Loss

Lose fat lowering definitely needs caloric intake and increase energy consumption and hence calories, ie the daily caloric balance is negative so that the fat is used as fuel and thus reduce the same to our body down the extra kilos.

This is achieved, of course, eating less simple carbohydrates and opting hydrate if necessary, for energy in times of need (such as training), for complex carbohydrates, minimizing fat intake and doing cardio.

Muscle gain

In contrast to gain muscle you need to increase the calories you eat for your body at all times have sufficient energy to make quality training and, after these, to recover in the best way possible given the body’s glycogen refilled.

This is achieved, in contrast to the loss of fat, eating complex carbohydrates to keep glycogen in the body to the maximum, eating a good amount of protein (2 grams per kilo body) to rebuild muscle and work great in intense muscular gym.

Furthermore, if it is good also consume a large amount of fat as this helps the creation and regeneration of muscle tissue and the assimilation of carbohydrates and protecting existing muscle in the body by preventing the dreaded muscle catabolización .

The dilemma may

If we look at what we have written to each of the objectives will see that each need to do something, so basically this would be impossible, but really that’s not true, because if it is very strict and use it fair and well trains can get small gains muscle with fat loss.

Of course, this goal is the most difficult of all because you know how much is consumed by your BMR and your daily workout to eat right and necessary and at the right time, and that neither the muscle gains or losses fat are large.

Obviously there must be clear that this is the most generic and as we always say that everybody Viton is different and depending on genetics each having the results may be better or worse and good results can be achieved but it is very unlikely to most mortals.

The correct target

No doubt the correct target is to first stage volume and then the definition stage or fat loss. Conversely it is also possible but in the case of having a large excess fat, whereas the fat down to a certain point and then make the two stages again.

Therefore always starts with muscle growth during a given time as excess body fat will help to protect the muscle plus it after stage of hypertrophy is not going to be another step to make a definition to burning  the excess caloric growth stage which will become fat.

The exception

There is one exception, and this is when it starts in the gym for the first time, because if you had never done weights your body will react to gaining muscle and likewise if you were sedentary and had excess fat also lose fat but this in a couple of months settles and the changes are not very relevant.
